Hi all – just a quick post here, as there’s loads to get on with before the sleep-out tonight. First and foremost, we’re back on BBC Radio Shropshire this evening to help publicise the sleep-out. Event Organiser, John Howick will be on the ‘drive-time’ show at around 5pm if you fancy tuning in.
John will also be on the breakfast show at around 7am tomorrow morning, as the sleep-out concludes. This follows our first appearance on BBC Radio Shropshire in July, speaking to Eric Smith an Clare Ashford on their morning show.
We’ve also had some good local press over the past couple of days: the Ludlow Advertiser ran another article in their paper, which you can read here. I also have it on good authority that we were in yesterday’s edition of the Shropshire Star too, so do check that out if you get a chance.
Well that’s about it! We’re off to pitch our spot at the sleep-out. Hopefully we’ll see some of you there, and do keep your donations coming on our BT MyDonate page – we’ve now topped £15,000 and are well on our way to that target.
