Behind The Scenes at Ludlow College

IMG_2172The Ludlow Cares team has been cooking up a storm recently in partnership with some of the students at Ludlow College. To help promote our charity sleep-out on September 20th in aid of charities such as Barnardo’s and St. Basils, Ludlow College’s Health & Social Care Class organised a video shoot on campus.

After pulling in some eager volunteers from the college’s drama department, members of the Health & Social Care Class started filming the video on college grounds. In fact, the shoot took place in the same area of the campus where our sleep-out will be held later this year, so keep your eyes peeled and you might spot a comfy spot to bed down in on the evening of September 20th…

To keep an air of mystery around the video we’re not going to reveal what it’s about just yet, but we do have a few teaser pictures to whet your whistle (see gallery below)…

…Okay, you twisted our arm – the video’s key themes will include dancing and cardboard boxes, but that’s all we’re revealing at this stage. More to come very shortly…

“We wanted something that was really catchy; something that was popular, and something that would make people watch the video,” said Director, Kimberley Clarke. “It gets the point across, that there are too many people homeless on the streets.

“If it’s catchy, people will watch it and gain an understanding about it,” she continued. “You’ll hear more about it soon, so keep watching!”

Stay tuned to our blog for the video’s release shortly, as well as more news about progress with the sleep-out and how you can get involved. In the meantime, check back to our main site for more information, and be sure to Like/Follow on Facebook and Twitter to help spread the news!
